Welcome to Sojourn Church New Albany

Nestled in the heart of a historic New Albany neighborhood, we have inherited a beautiful legacy from the former Silver Street Elementary School. For over 100 years, the school used this building to serve the community’s mind, body, and soul. We are grateful to continue that work in Jesus’ name. 

We exist to help people take their next step with Christ. We reach people with the gospel, build them up as God's church, and send them wherever God leads, to be champions of truth, beauty, and goodness.

We don’t care whether you’re a Republican or Democrat, blue-collar or white collar. God is calling women and men of all races and cultures, political persuasions, and economic backgrounds, to become One in Christ.

Sojourn Kids

Sojourn Kids exists to show kids Jesus so that they grow up to be like him and go tell others about him. Each Sunday we provide a kid-friendly, safe environment where kids learn about Jesus from the Bible. We partner with parents in teaching and caring for their children by providing resources for families that correspond with our Sunday curriculum.

On your first visit, we’ll meet with you at our First-time Check-in station to ensure your kids are checked in properly so that only you can check them out. And we’ll walk you to their classroom or nursery.
